Contract Blinds Installing Blinds To Blundell Street Scheme

Contract Blinds are installing blinds at the £24 million Baltic Triangle project in Liverpool.

The work includes the supply and installation of roller blinds to 200 apartments at the Blundell Street Scheme.

Principal contractors ISG have created a nine storey housing block on the site of a former car park, next to the popular 24 Kitchen Street nightclub.

Contract Blinds Managing Director, Dean Mellor, said: “This is a big job but we are well underway and will be completed on time.

“The project itself is a really smart development in a busy, popular, part of Liverpool and the developers have done a terrific job given the tight nature of the site.

“They’ve also had to ensure the scheme is complimentary towards to the nightclub and the ‘vibe’ of the area and it’s overall look.

“We are installed roller blinds to all of the 200 apartments to complete the sophisticated look and feel of a very contemporary building.”

The scheme was initially given planning consent in 2016 but with conditions to mimosa the impact on the night club and to ‘maintain the vive of the Baltic Triangle as a create hub.’

The Scheme includes the construction of a 1,200-tonne steel frame and more than 440,000 bricks and is due for completion later this summer.
